Renewal of fit-out permit applies for all types of Fit-out application when the validity of the fit-out permit expires prior submission of inspection request.

Applicant applies for the renewal request justifying the need of extension e.g., delay of receiving material, obtaining relevant authority approval like DCD or DEWA, remaining work at site….etc. and specifying the required duration to complete remaining work including DHCA inspection.

Renewal of fit-out permit fees is 500AED

• Valid contractor trade license
• Reason of renewal
• Required duration of extension
• Fees payment 
  

• Applying for Fit-out permit renewal request attaching required document and justification. (by Applicant)
• Review of the request and verifying documents. (by DHCA)
• Acceptance of request or comment of required modification (by DHCA)
• Payment receipt. (by Applicant)
• Fit out permit expiry date is extended to the approved duration. (by DHCA) automatically on the system after the payment receipt. And can be found in document wallet.
