20 April, 2020. In line with national efforts towards combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and in cooperation with Dubai Health Authority (DHA), we would like to inform you that private hospitals are mandated to receive emergency cases referred by the Dubai Corporate for Ambulance Services (DCAS).
Dubai Healthcare City Authority, the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City, instructs hospitals and healthcare professionals in the free zone to adhere to the instructions as per DHA
circular (dated 19 April), which provide information related to:
- Urgent cases of confirmed COVID-19.
- Suspected symptomatic COVID-19 cases.
- All other emergencies that include poly-trauma, and severe cases requiring immediate care such as stroke and cardiac arrest.
- Additional requirements to stabilise patients and ensure accurate documentation.
Note: Failure to comply will result in penalties.
