21 March, 2021. In line with national efforts and the Dubai Government directives for combating the COVID-19 pandemic, DHCA would like to inform you about the resumption of elective and non-urgent surgical procedures, taking into consideration all precautionary and preventive measures relating to public health and safety as per the below:
- Allow resumption of all elective and non – urgent surgical procedures with effect from 21\03\2021 and as per applicable DHCA rules and regulations.
- Hospitals shall abide by bed occupancy percentage and preserve inpatient and ICU beds for COVID-19 patients whenever necessary and as per earlier hospitals' acknowledgement to Dubai Healthcare City Authority-Regulatory.
